About Miss Kowal

I am starting my third year of teaching at Cactus View Elementary.  Cactus View is such a wonderful community and I glad to help support the children and families here.  I grew up in the PV school District attending Copper Canyon Elementary, Sunrise Middle School, and Horizon High School. After graduating high school, I attended Paradise Valley Community College for two years and received my Associates of Arts.  Then I was able to transfer to Arizona State University in the ITeach Program.  There I received a bachelors degree in Special and Elementary Education.  I loved my journey through college and learned many things about education.  Also I was able to intern with some amazing teachers in PVUSD.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, music, learning, and just spending time with my family and friends.  I have one furry friend named Loki.  I love working with children and value providing each child with the tools they need to succeed in their education and life.
